How To Make Quinoa Milk

Ingredients:
1 cup cooked quinoa
3 cups filtered water
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
1 to 2 Tbsp sweetener of choice, to taste (optional)
(a good sweetener choice is 3 pitted dates)
Instructions:
  1. Place the ingredients into a blender.  Blend until completely white and as liquid as possible.
  2. Pour into a storage container with a lid and refrigerate.  Shake well before serving.
Notes:
  • You can create a plain milk to use in recipes such as Mix-It-Up Creamy Pasta Surprise or a sweet milk to use in recipes such as Mix-It-Up Muffins.
  • A high powered blender, such as Vitamix or Blentec, will produce better results.
